“Messiah: A Sacred Oratorio”
Working Dress Rehearsal
Tuesday, December 3, 2019
7:30 – 9:30 PM — Tickets $15 each
You’ll feel part of the Sarasota Choral Society as we rehearse in real time what it actually takes to perform this event. This is our final rehearsal for the December 7th – 75th Diamond Jubilee performance, and there will be many starts and stops for fine tuning! Expect approximately two (2) hours for the process. This rehearsal is in casual attire.
Our Artistic Director, Genevieve Beauchamp, along with organist, Dr. Jonathan Spivey, have been rehearsing with the chorus for five weeks. This final rehearsal is when it all comes together for the very first time with the orchestra and professional soloists. In addition, Sarasota Young Voices will practice their prelude and join in with the Hallelujah Chorus.
Soloists: Jenny Kim-Godfrey, Soprano; Robyn Rocklein, Alto; Brandon Evans, Tenor; Jamal Sarikoki, Bass
