We are thrilled to announce our
82nd annual presentation of the Hallelujah Chorus
December 12, 2026 | 4:00 PM | Church of the Palms, Sarasota, Florida
The Sarasota Choral Society's annual performance of Handel's Messiah will return for its 82nd year on Saturday, December 12, 2026, at 4:00 PM at Church of the Palms in Sarasota.
We appreciate your patience in awaiting this announcement. Uncertainty surrounding a major renovation at Church of the Palms prompted us to explore alternate venues this year. We are delighted to report that the renovation will be completed in time for our performance, and that sanctuary improvements will make this year's performance a magnificent experience for singers and audience alike.
Singers, mark your calendars! Rehearsals will begin on Monday, November 2nd, with five weekly rehearsals leading up to a dress rehearsal on Monday, December 7th. Whether you are a returning Choral Society member or a first-time participant, we warmly welcome voices from across our community. Details on how to register to sing will be forthcoming.
This holiday tradition belongs to all of Sarasota, and we look forward to lifting our voices together once again in this joyful celebration of music and community. We hope to see you on December 12th.
